Museum of Fine Arts Bern

Berne’s Museum of Fine Arts (which opened in 1879) is the oldest art museum in Switzerland with a permanent collection. It houses outstanding exhibits covering eight centuries. The works by such eminent artists as Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Ferdinand Hodler and Meret Oppenheim have contributed to the museum’s international renown.
